Default distributor o ring, is it really that easy!!

Since one year and i see some oil leak under the distributor area, so i decided to replce the o-ring, as per the below link, the process seems to be so easy.
mark at the top of the distributor, remove 3 bolts, replace o ring, re install it !!
there he mention, be careful not turn anything, is it mean the head of the distributor ( picture #6).

Is there any thing important that i should really be careful about to avoid any troubles!
BTW, i have a civic si 00

not sure what he means by not turning anything. as long as the marks you made line up after install you're good to go.

remove the distributor bolts X3 12 mm with a wrench.
wiggle out the distributor using a pick pull of the o ring then put new one on.

thats it. theres nothing that you can **** up honestly.

he was reffering to if you turn the dizzy shaft that lines up with the cam then its gonna take you a little longer to get the dizzy to sit in. and if you turn it too much it will be retarded or advance....

a monkey could do it. it's easier then changing the oil.

as long as you marked the ear before you pulled it, no there's nothing to worry about. If you didn't, you need to check the ignition timing.

Setting the ignition timing after you put the dizzy back is harder than changing the o-ring. It's a dead simple job.

You shouldn't have to set the timing if you mark the distributor before removing it...

Yeah stupid easy, it would take a trained money less than 5 minutes to replace the O ring.

I think you might need a bigger ape, like a chimp or orangutan, to breaks the bolts loose. One of those little organ grinder monkeys couldn't hack it. :D
