Icon2 What to do with front fenders with wide tires

I'm not into drag racing (at the moment) but i figured this would be the best place to get good advice on the matter of whether or not the front fenders on an EK can be rolled using a fender roller. i'm using 15x8 with 225/50 and obviously they rub. i work at a Honda dealer and a tech has a fender roller and we're rolling the rears in the next couple days but he thinks the fronts won't be able to be rolled...Help!!

You will definitely **** the paint up. Most of us buy three piece front ends.

just make some spacers for the fenders. But the front end will look kind of jacked up

Use a razor blade and score the edge of the paint. I've heard people using heat guns and they roll out fine.

I was able to run a 225/50/15 on a 15x8 rim on my eg (EK has a slightly bigger area) I rolled them and didn't crack the paint. Make SURE u use a heat gun !!!! That's the secret to not cracking it out. Also, roll it Lil by Lil , meaning don't try to roll to much of an angle at once. Take ur time and u will be fine...good luck

I bought a 3pc and then I dont have to sacrifice drivability and have even LESS tire on the road..

Stop being a cheap *** and buy a 3 piece front end and be thankful you have them so readily availalbe for your car. lol. Us other guys only wished they were that cheap and stocked on the shelf.

But if your going to roll them, do it right, take your time, and use a heat gun. But good luck.

Rolling them will work for what he's trying to accomplish just fine. And as far as being a cheap *** and not getting a 3piece front end...alot of people are actually scared to buy them bc of the prob w/paying for them and never receiving them (plenty of threads on here about that) and some people don't wanna **** out 1000bucks for a front end on a street car. I lucked up and found a 3piece front end locally and could put my hands on it before I payed for it but I'm also clearing a LOT bigger tire.
