i have a 93 integra with 235,xxx miles on it ( its a trooper )
but i have a problem thats getting worse as time goes on.
if i drive my car and park it for a few minutes it wont start again. ill leave it sit for a few seconds and try again and it will start.
or sometimes it will start but if i give it gas it will die so it seems like its not getting fuel.
it runs fine once im driving no bad idle or loss of power at any point. only when i turn it off and try to start it again do i have a problem.
i have done dizzy, cap, rotor, plugs and wires a few thousand miles ago but thats all.
where would you guys start? fuel filter, fuel pump?

Most common problem is the PGM-FI Main Relay, next would be the pump itself.
In most cases the fix for the PGM-FI Main Relay is simple, you need some 60/40 resin core solder and a solder pensil...

Yes it could, install a FPG and see what happens to the fuel pressure when the car stalls.
Do you hear the fuel pump priming when car will not start, drive the car, "park it" and when you go to restart, turn the ign. key to the run position, [not all the way to start] and listen for the fuel pump priming, if there is no prime then it is PGM-FI Main Relay related of possibly the fuel pump itself. 94

I have the exact same problem with my 2001 GSR Kyle except my car doesn't die when I give it gas, I've already tried re soldering the Main relay, replaced my ignition system, timing belt, tune up, fuel filter
I'm no mechanic but I think I will be by the time I figure out what is wrong with my car. Its fun. I'm going to try replacing my ECT sensor tomorrow, I'll let you know how that works out for me.

A bad ECT sensor will not prevent the car starting.
Would have the know MM&Y of car for location of sensor.94

Kyle! I just replaced the ECT sensor. Got the car to running temperature and cut off the engine. I tested it at 0 minutes, 5, 10, 20,30 and 40 minutes. It has started every time. The idle is much lower too. between 750 to 850rpms.
fcm, I'm not sure why it works but for now it's working for me. My guess is the bad sensor was flooding my engine? I do smell a lot of gas when the car fails to start. I don't know, but I'll update if the problem returns.

Thanks for the answers guys.
Mines so far and few between its hard to track down. Has started and ran fine since I made this post .
But out of the blue it it will start to act up.
Even if I replace stuff I won't know till it happens again (or doesn't)

Don't just replace stuff without knowing for sure what's wrong with it. There is a way to test if the ECT is bad. Anyhow, Usually, a bad ECT can still start your car but once the car warms up it will make it difficult to start maybe.
According to the Helms manual, it is #1 on the list when having trouble starting when cold. If its bad, it will usually throw a CEL. If and when it does throw a CEL, you MUST check the sensor to see if it's bad before you replace it otherwise, you will be wasting time and money on something that doesn't need to be changed.
According to the Helms, to test the ECT temperature sensor make sure your car is warmed up.
- Start the engine, hold the engine at 3,000 RPM with no load (A/T in N or P position, M/T in neutral) until the radiator fan comes on, then let it idle.
- Turn ignition off
- Disconnect the 2p connector from the ECT sensor
- Measure resistance between the 2 terminals on the ECT sensor. If out of spec, ( should be between 200-400 ohms) then the ECT sensor is bad.
But all in all, hook up a fuel pressure gauge and check the fuel pressure first like FCM said. If there is no CEL and you still suspect the ECT sensor, check it through the procedure.
