Dave ,
maybe , just maybe you will know the answer
is this exhaust compatible with a 22mm rear sway bar on a 92-95 civic HB
I cant get a straight answer from magnaflow due to the fact that the car never came with one from the factory.
TIA ---

Did the 92? - 95 Si hatch come with a rear bar?
thats where the problem lies , nobody call tell me whether it will fit due to the fact that the only civic to come with a rear bar in 92-95 is a 4dr.
I guess if the axle back portion is listed the same for the 4dr and HB it SHOULD work , maybe on their exhaust just the B-pipe is a different lenth
anyway thanks Dave and let me know -

well I would be willing to test-fit , but I'm affraid to purchase something and then have fitment issues.
also - are these the N1 shinny muffs or can I get a painted low key quiet muffler , I want something quiet and your system sounds nice , its just out of my budjet right now.
how does this system compare to yours Dave as far as sound , etc.

the only civic to come with a rear bar in 92-95 is a 4dr.
I posted some pic back in the main post. I don't have any sound clips for you. My systems are larger (2-1/2) and use a 4x9 muffler versus this 6" round so it's hard to say. Plus the header will also make a little difference.
Here is a short video of the SMSP system at the 'Great Header Test'. The dyno is louder than the car. Sounds very nice.

Are you sure of this? Was this on all versions of the 4 dr?

Sent another email to the rep but look here
http://www.magnaflow.com/03cat-honda.htm
p/n 15026 looks to be the tubing going over the axle and it seems that it's the same part for all civics (which makes sense). Just waiting for confirmation.

let me know what else you find out Dave , your efforts are greatly appreciated
bump.
any info on the rear sway issue Dave ?
I was browsing the list of apps in your GB and they dont list anything for a 92-95 civic EX (which has a rear sway) , only the LX/DX ( the ones with NO rear bar )
also , I have seen one of their older systems and it was under the axle....
is this true with the ones you're getting in ??

On the Magnaflow site they list the 15641 for the 92-95 sedan/coupe and don't list any of the 3 models designations. So, I think it will work. However, I'm verifying the 15641 is for the EX.

I really appreciate you looking into this Dave.
Jamie - who really should go custom from Dave.....
you wanna prototype your first hatch exhaust on a black one almost as dirty as George's ??

I'm about to order one, but the swaybar issue on my hatch makes me worry as well.
Oh, and I'd love to know how these sound as well.
