To Replace LCA or LCA bushings?
Howdy,
I have a 90 CRX Si with b16a, and the car is lowered with h&r sport springs (with tokico blues).
But anyway if that helps, my Lower Control Arm bushings are shot to wear they can jiggle with no load. My question is, would it be cheaper and/or easier to replace the control arm, or replace the bushings? I have access to a shops press (2 of them) but I hear it may be difficult to get the bushings to slide out.
Let me know what's up!

My fault. The reason I asked cause they have aftermarket LCA's for sale such as Moog and etc that are decent quality and I'm sure they'd sell them with exact specifications to meet the same angle and length requirements as an OEM part otherwise it would never make it to being sold, if it failed testing.
Otherwise, my old LCA's are good, but need some bushing upgrades. Planning to put oem bushings in those if not replacing the LCA itself.

I recently changed my bushings it was a PITA but it wasn't hard just time consuming.
First I pressed out the metal center piece then I had to cut the metal sleeve that encases the rubber part of the bushing and then I pressed that out. Just ask the shops around you to see how much they charge. Around me the shops wanted to charge 50/ LCA so I said screw it ill but a press instead.

if those control arms have good quality rubber with equal durameter, i don't see a reason not to get them, matter of fact, i might get a couple myself.
Moog on the other hand is a quality aftermarket parts company from the many reviews I've read.
I'm currently redoing a lot of my suspension with their parts so hopefully it works out well.

My fault. I ended up getting oem bushings for the front lca's since the only place i can find moog bushings which were in UK so shipment price equaled oem price. I got Moog front lower ball joints and also oem rear trailing arm bushings.
I gotta buy some for the rear lca.
