I have a 1994 acura integra RS with a 2000 LS swap and b16 tranny. the car was running fine but began turning off on me, it cranks and sounds like it wants to turn on but just wont.
after cranking it a few times there's a strong smell of gas in the air. could this be the injection system?

 

You're basically flooding your cylinders with fuel when turning it over and over again.

Check for the basics. Spark, fuel, and compression.
