Default Question about damage in engine Pilot 06

Hi i introduce myself, im Carlos from Venezuela

the reason of this topic is that i need an advice from you..

recently my Pilot 06 had some problem with the oil, having one big issue with the proper function of the oil pump, well the damage have been a pain in the %/&...my mechanic says that the main bearings from the crankshaft has slided with no oil so it damaged the main caps and part of the block, he gave me two solutions, the first one is to do a bore work (im not sure about the name in english) but he cant give me warranty for this job, and the other one is to buy another block mainly because the main caps was eaten by the bearings and they dont have a part number by themselves..what do you all think that i should do?

my other question is this: i have two part numbers from the block, 11000-PVK-A00 and 11000-RJE-A01, these two says emission: KA - US Market Spec but one says its from usa and another from canada, and the canada one is cheaper by 300$ aprox. which one should i buy? and the canadian should work for my pilot? 300$ for me in my country is a lot of money and i think that these block are the same. am i right?

Thanks in advance...

get on the net and buy a short block assembly from a dealer, around $2000 US, will be your best bet.

Not sure, but I bet the Corporate Honda website has someone that may know.

Carlos, lo mas sencillo que peudes hacer es comprar otro motor.

en ccs hay una venta de motores que se llama Yako. ahi compre el motor para hacer un swap a mi integra (b20) y todo perfecto!
