hi, i'm using my civic ls vtec turbo as daily this days, in the return from work
the traffic is bumper to bumper after a few stop and go the car start to fluctuate. when the traffic is passed and the car run a few minutes it come to
normal idle. The temperature is normal, i'm thinking in high IAT's.

any help.

 

Is there a vacuum leak somewhere? My car would flucuate when slowing down and idling because the line off my BOV was torn. Check all your hoses for leaks, just to narrow things down.

 

nah. IATs are irrelevant in this case. You're concerned more with coolant temps or vacuum leaks at this point. Check your overflow bottle (coolant level). Since you started driving a lot, I wouldn't be surprised if you started burning a little more coolant/water than normal. Assuming all of your vacuum connections are normal, its a simple low-tech approach to try. And no. "looking at it" won't help.. add some coolant.. happens a lot to cars that have become daily drivers

 

yes i check it with carb cleaner the odly is i can use the car all day and no trouble just take it to stop and go traffic and after a minutes start fluctuate.
Very important is only in the day when the hot is 9's
