New Flex Fuel Sensor Support Added To Hondata S300
Just an FYI for those of you that run e85.
Hondata has added Ethanol content analyzer support to Hondata s300
You can now use a Ethanol content analyzer which allows you to setup ethanol content vs fuel compensation percentages.

Wonder how well it works.
Will I be able to tune on pump E85 and while driving around town if there is no E85 around just pump 93oct?
Anyone try it yet? I know it was in a beta stage when I saw it

As of now the flex fuel support is a voltage versus fuel compensation table.
You will have to use your own flex fuel sensor & wire it in to the ecu on an input then configure voltage vs compensation percentage.

what about the ingition compensation ?
because if you tune your car with e85 you can run a more advanced ignition.
so what happens with the ignition when i fill it up with normal gas.
automatic retard ??
i guess its just the fuel compensation, right ?

according to the hondata help file, yes only fuel compensation
I am sure the future may hold more features if there is a demand for them :-)
So then you can't use a sensor only since they don't output a linear 0-5 volt signal. Only way to do this is to use a GM sensor with a Zeitronix Ethanol Gauge
