Last gen ludes are one of my favorites.

Unless its a GSR or ITR why even bother building?

B18's only impress me in a EG/EF hatch.

Get rid of the teggy.

if i were u id just get rid of the integra, get some money for it, then jusy buy a eg/ek/dc shell of your choice and an h22 engine to build for it.

thatd be the best way to go, because ud have fun/power/headroom of the prelude for daily and while ur doing that you could just buy misc. parts for the shell and extra h22 engine and make a crazy nice honda.

well that was a retarded post.

dude theres sooooooooo much more to running a fast quarter mile time than what block you start out with.. and for daily driving with light mods, the h22 would be a better choice in general. if ur really trying to defend an LS over an h22 then idk what to say to you besides wtf.

b swaps are one of the most overrated swaps on the planet unless its a b18cr

wtf? i know exactly what im talking about.

if he plans on keeping his cars stock, then i would take the h22 prelude no brainer.
the integra most likely has 130hp ls engine with no tq so what would be the point?

and if he sold the teg and then used that money to buy an extra h22 motor, he could then build that engine while he daily drives his prelude.

if he wants to swap the h22 into a shell, hell get more hp for his buck than a bseries and also MORE TQ..

its a no brainer really, and the fastest honda engine is irrelevant in this case, as the OP isnt going to be building the worlds fastest Honda???

theres more to making the worlds fastest honda than the block u started out with. i also think that the reason the bseries is still the fastest is because its been around the longest and people have had time to push it to its maxes.

for daily driving the h22 would be way more fun are u kidding me. a bseries and hseries weigh almost identical numbers as well, the heavy h series deal is just a myth.

this debate has gone on for ages so whatever think what u want.

i didnt write the "b18s only impress me in a hatch" quote what are u talking about ?

if u think hes "specifically" stating which hes going to build then why would he make a thread asking US which one he SHOULD build????

wtf dude i hope english isn't ur first language and this is all just a big misunderstanding.

and he ISNT trying to build the worlds fastest engine. its quite obvious when hes asking strangers what engine he should build. he probably isnt going to be messing around with internal work on this level of knowledge of mechanics....thats why i was just saying that he should keep the h22 prelude for daily driving with more headroom and more daily comfort, and then on the side he could get a 2nd H22 and just build that and decide whether he wants to throw that in the prelude or throw it into a shell. thats the best way to do things because then he wouldnt be rushed.

or he could just do basic boltons on the H22 he has in his prelude. and ONCE AGAIN make more power than he would with the ls integra.

H22's stock for stock, will consistantly embarass any B-series short of a B18C5.

I've always been partial to H22s.
