are both front axles the same? i need a new one for the passenger side and looking at autozones website i found the one i need but it doesnt specify right or left side. its for a 98 awd manual trans with abs. id prefer to get it from autozone for the lifetime warranty.

 

ok i think i figured it out. i think the drivers side is the same between auto and manual. but the passenger side is different between auto and manual. sound right? im guessing because of the half shaft for the drivers side.

 

Speak with Honda parts to be 100%. They should have exact answers for you.

 

just go to autozone..if it is then the part numbers should cross...

the only difference i could think of is ..the abs axles are the one with the groove thingy/teeth looking thing...

you could use abs axles to non abs crv...but i dont think you could use non abs axles to abs crv
