it is but why go thur all the trouble when you can get new axles very cheaply (non-oem) i buy gsr axles at the local parts stores around here for $60-$70 each...

You need the abs pulser rings, which I don't know where you can get. Perhaps off a set of old abs axles. I was told you can just tap it off the old on and tap it onto a new one.
