Looking to have some stainless items mandrel bent and I'm looking for somewhere in the US to have it done. Has anyone here had any luck with anyone?

 

what could you possibly need bent that you can't buy at any of the online shops? IE: AceStainless, or Verocious Motorsports?

Full downpipes and exhaust bent to my specifications, why else would I want to use a cnc bending shop :p

Called there a while ago and guess no one took me seriously and brushed me off. Owner who posts on here is never there and the worker who I talked to must have been depressed about life lol.

 

I'm local to http://www.mandrel-bends.com/ , but I did not recommend them, and recommended the other place. I have no doubt that those guys can help you.

The only time I order from Columbia River Mandrel Bending is when we need some piping quickly for intercooler piping and such, but even then that is only when we are in a rush. We have a better supplier that provides us some nicer material, but they are a few more days out. The prices are hard to beat though, and the quick shipping.

 

ive bought some stuff from columbia river bending for down pipes and dumps, i youst to live in st helens, he probly wasnt depressed just high, ive always had luck with them though

 

We are not a job shop, so more then likely you were directed elsewhere for short run parts. If someone took your design and said I would contact you with a quote, my apologies they are instructed not to do that.

Our primary business is warehouse fulfillment, so we do not do much to interrupt our workflow that ultimately leads to 100+ boxes a day out the door as fast as we can.

As for quality concerns, of the past 22,992 orders we have had 9 returns related to quality and 46 related to ordered wrong product. There is always some level of defect rate for product, but we do our best to minimize it as much as possible at our volume levels (we produce roughly 2000 bends a day). We are far from perfect, but we do our best.

And for the record, no employee on record has ever been high at work that I am aware of.

PRT Performance in DFW area has a CNC mandrel bender. Not sure if he will do custom runs, but it's worth a shot.
