Default Where the shift rod goes in the tranny is very loose and just flops around

on my 91 hatch, i was replacing the worn out shift stablizer bushings, hoping to clear up the play in the shifter. i noticed where the shift rod goes in the tranny, that bitch is loose as **** and just flops aroiund. anyone got any fixes for this or a link where i can buy a replacement for it? i cant find one anywhere.

shift shaft seal i think its called, but im not sure if that would actually cause it to flop around like it is. it is leaking to so i think i may have answered my own question.
