does 3-3500 sound about right? i haven't taken it on the interstate much but i guess im used to newer cars and 3500 seems kinda high.

 

@ 75 mph, I'm a little over 3K. This is the 1st 4 banger I have owned but from other I4 that I have drove, higher RPMs is the way they work.

 

Does it feel like its Slipping? loosing power etc

 

Hmmm, my 2001 Accord runs at more like 2200 at 70 mph.

 

Yes and you also drive a V6.

Higher RPMs are normal with 4 bangers.

 

my 91 at 75 is like 3200 ish

 

89 wagovan, stock L3 trans 3k at 65 mph. 3,400 at 75.

Agreed, but the OP didn't specify I4 or V6 or for that matter Autmatic vs. Manual.

Well, kinda-sorta; the safe assumption is that the OP meant top gear (i.e. 4th for automatics and 5th for manuals). With that assumption in place, it all depends upon which engine and transmission combination the OPs car has in place.

 

sorry for the lack of info, but i figured people could see that im bone stock and that would imply that im running a 4 banger. also its an auto.

 

I'm going on based on his sig which is a 90 Accord which didn't come with a V6. A vs M would be the differences between a few hundred RPMs
