Icon2 Melted bearings on crank journals, TOAST?

I picked up a GSR motor from a buddy that threw a rod through the block. The block is completely done for, thats going to be an end table wine rack. I am using the head for a second build, but I would like to salvage the crank if at possible. Two bearings have melted on the crank journals. I have tried to get them off, but don't want to run the risk of scratching the hell out of the crank.

unfortunately I live nowhere close to a machine shop. i was hoping to get a little input as to whether or not this can be salvaged? micropolished out? anyone have experience with this?

machine shop or trash.

might even still be trash. idk, i'm no machinist.

sucks you don't live close to one.. that'd be an expensive ship just to find out it's worthless. best bet would be to ask the all motor forum as a more seasoned engine builder/machinist might be able to give you much more valuable advice.

i'd trash it. used good condition cranks are cheap enough that it's not worth the price to fix that.

Nope. 99.9% chance it's junk. It's likely out of round and would need to be cut to fix.

Just a large paper weight now.
GS-R cranks can be found for cheap these days.

get the ls or b20 crank that has a longer stroke. you will see huge torque gains and a usable powerband. u dont got to wait till vtec to feel the pull

idk about huge torque gains. Hondas don't have torque to begin with.

I believe the LS crank has a 1.8mm longer stroke than GS-R if I remember correctly?
