won't start!!
I just got done putting a 1996 JDM b18c in a 91' ef i'm converted to obd1. I'm using obd0 injectors with a brand new resistor box. I'm running a obd2 to obd1 dizzy jumper harness. I have a brand new gsr chip in my P28 ECU"installed the correct way" The motor turns over fine, i have spark. i have fuel pressure through the fuel rail. I sprayed carb cleaner in the intake manifold, and it ran for a second. i haven't wired up the vtec wires yet. Does anyone have any idea?
Since you got it to run a little on carb cleaner, then the logical answer to me is that your aren't getting fuel.
Check for power at your injectors when you have the ignition set to 'ON'. (Main relay supplies the resistor box with 12V and the resistor box sends that voltage to the injectors).
ECU sends a ground signal to fire the injectors so you will need a noid light to check to see if they are firing.
If they are not firing, then you need to verify your wiring from ECU to distributor.
