boosting the b1
Sorry for the vagueness, I didn't know the thread got moved. I'm being told my d15b1 block would be better boosted than a z6 because it is lower compression. It is in my 91 hatch and is dpfi, im converting it to mpfi before I do anything to clear that up. My question is if I run low boost with that block how well will it hold up? Im not looking to.break records, just something to play around with

the lack of research on your part = failure
get pissed at my comment, but come on manye search for your answer rather just ask the most commonly asked question.
stock motors with boost are risky unless you build it for it PERIOD

Yeah if you have ever seen a stock D series rod you would be like wow the first time. They are like pinky finger thin at the small end. IMO the D16Z6 or the JDM D15B1 Vtec would be the best motor to boost. All D series motors are low compression IMO, boosting a high compression motor is all in the tuning.
