Default boost on stock compression

I have a 99 Civic SI w/ a JRSC running 6 PSI. I was wanting to know if that is the maximum amount of boost I could run on stock compression or if I could run 8PSI and not blow up the motor. If I have to lower compression what compression do I need to run to put 10 PSI in the motor, cause if I have to change the internals I would rather run 10PSI than 8PSI. If anyone has info or opinions please let me know.

edit: the question would not be boost on stock compression, but boost on stock bottom end

I think question wouldn't be boost on stock compression or boost on stock bottom end, but boost on massive amounts of SC heat!!! You're going to start to lose efficiency at 8psi and probably get detonation without a water/air intercooler. do a search; someone on here has a really tight set-up with 11-psi on a JRSC...forgot who, sorry.
