So my car was stolen about a week ago and got it back yesterday, everything was ripped out as far as sound system goes but they did not seem to take anything else... The worst part is the check light engine came on and now when i accelerate going into 1st gear it make a rumble noise kinda like the Subaru's do. an so on going into the next gears right around 3k. I replaced my MAS ( mass air flow sensor) and my fuel filter it dosent seem like they messed with my sparks. my uncle has the computer that tell you whats wrong with it and it came out saying missfire cylinder 1,2,3,4; so, thats why i changed the MAS... any suggestions?

id like to add that everytime it rumbles as if it were a subaru i get a los of power... i dont know if you can relate but the kind of loss as if you were turning on your AC.. maybe i just neeed a new AC pump too hehe.

They probably over-revved it, misshifted, and who knows what else. Pull the plugs and see what they look like.

 

Your not firing on all 4 cylinders hence the Subaru sound. Check you wires and plugs. The cylinder that is missing would show when you pull the plugs because the plug will be wet from the fuel not igniting.

 

Exactly what this guy said. Happened to a friend's civic before as well and turned out one of his spark plugs was garbage
