heat/ac smells horrible

heat/ac smells horrible
My heat/ac progressively started smelling horrible over the course of the past few months. I guess its kind of a moldy vomit like smell. It was originally when the car turned on for just a few seconds and then went away. Then it started all of the time. Someone suggested that it was the cabin air filter or something, but then I was informed that Integras dont have those and was told to purchase a spray. This spray was sprayed in the vents and in the air vent under the hood. That worked for about a week and now it smells like somethings dead. Car has been well maintained, runs excellent and exhaust doesn't smell bad. Any ideas please?

I've only had my honda fit sport for about a month, and today my ac vent suddenly started to smell chemically, like nail polish remover. I've been reading all over the net that it could be mold, but this is not an organic smell -- it's very chemically.
Does anyone know what this is?

I agree w/ what others have said...take a look at the blower motor, drain tube. Sometimes the drain tube gets clogged and mold will start to grow in the evap box.
