I'm looking into converting a regular run of the mill, DC (LS/GSR 4x100) rear disc brake setup into a 5 Lug ITR setup. (REARS ONLY)
I've done a bit of research and haven't come up with anything concrete....
So far I noticed that the rotors and calipers are different between the 2 but other then that what's needed to accomplish this?
Is the 5 Lug ITR hub interchangeable with that of a 4Lug LS/GSR?
Is that all thats needed?
I'm no noob, just need some insight so please keep the dumb comments to yourself, but all help is appreciated....

You "can" do it with the non itr trailing arms but in the end, it's kinda ghetto and unsafe(no room to run the safety washer so if bearing ever spun on spindle, bye bye wheel!!) the cheaper correct way to do it is find itr 4x114 trailing arms and convert those to 5x114 with new hubs/bearings/rotors. There is a thread explaining the ghetto way some where on this site. Good luck!

Too late. He's already running around with half the car on 5x114.
Still though, I love how people try to "justify" the upgrade to 5x114, when in most instances it is completely pointless and it adds significant weight.
And how is this post ITR related? Are we talking about hatchcraps again?

1st off buddy boy, i don't feel as if me, or anyone else for that matter, owe you or anyone like, you an explanation as to why we do what we do. But since you asked.....weight is of no concern to me, nowhere in this thread does it say I'm building a track ***** or even a weekend warrior. This is a Daily Driven car that i happen to acquire a front 5 Lug conversion for and some CTR wheels from a trade deal for some old wheels i had laying around.
All i wanted to know was...(and this is listed in the title)..the difference between the 2 spindles and if it were at all possible to convert the rear 4 LUG spindles to 5 Lug seeing as how NO ONE sells a Rear Disc ITR 5 Lug setup.
I've been posting in this forum for a long time....probably before you obtained your license! Only ignorance can justify comments like that, I asked my question and received positive and possible solution to my issue. Last i checked, isn't that what forums are for???
Since your not a Mod and probably never will be. Take your biased opinions and put them in a jar. Save them for an occasion where people might actually care about what you have to say....
