I had a d16y8 in my 1997 Honda civic. It got major rod knock due to the fact that i did not have enough oil in the motor. Now i took that whole motor/tranny out and used the same tranny and head d16y8 and used a d16y7 block (mini-me swap) I connect everything right to my knowledge and timed it to my best ability. Now i put in a new battery and the car is cranking but it is not starting. What can be the fix. Or things that would get me closer to fixing my problem like a check list.

 

You check if ur getting fuel and spark?
