just curious, but has anyone ever combines cams from different mfg's and got g00d results?
for example: JUN3 intake w/ a Toda C exhaust

I'm trying to figure out how you can put a B-series in back of an Integra, making it RWD and rear-engine mounted...

Awhile ago Mike K got positive results with a JunII intake/stock ITR exhaust came, who knows what would work well....

PS.... why is crower so stuck on high lift short durration cams? they must be stuck on that ahMURican push-rod motor!

.....I have from time to time SERIOUSLY thought of a custom grind cam (i & e) which had toda b/c little lobes, and jun 3 big lobes.

To me, this would be the best of both worlds (although a very EXTREME cam).

 

Im seriously thinking about this set-up since I havent got my CTR/ITR cams in yet.. Or maybe even the SKUNK2 StageI/ITR exhaust. A few I've talked to have tried this set-up and liked the results... Plus the SKUNK2 cam(stageI)is 325, the JUNII is like 460(from my dealer)...

 

What exactly make a setup work?

 

If I could afford more than one set of cams then maybe I would give it a whirl, but Im a broke muh fukka and got other shiat to buy first y0!

 

I know with the JUNII/ITR set up, I think Mike K either had ITR valvetrain or PORTFLOW/ITR valvetrain...

Could a Toda cam work with a Jun cam?

 

jun exhaust cam would work good with anything... i have a friend with a gsr running ctr intake cam and jun 3 exhaust cam making 200+whp... the motor is a gsr with b16a pistons.. gsr port and polished head.. skunk2 manifold, and a jg street header... that is a mild set up... if you study all the different specs of cams out there for drag... you'll notice what specs work and all the rest is just marketing and bs...

 

I've seen Jun 2 intake cam with the stock type R exhaust cam.
