We have failed 5 regulators in 6 months. The repair shop is telling us they are purchasing OEM regulators from Honda. The first two we paid for, the subsequest regualtors are being covered under a parts warranty. Has anyone experienced this frequency of failure? The repair shop keeps telling us that the motors are failing. It's odd to us that we have had so many failures. Is there something that could be causing these failures besides a defective part?

 

Sometimes you get 1 or 2 failures but, not 5. I suspect either the shop is installing them wrong or the window is catching in the regulator channel because of non-lubrication.
