Default brake : different part number, same "dimensions" ??!

i have 07 TL base, but i was being cheap and ended up discovering the 7G, 8G accord V6 brake rotor is same, and PROBABLY same dimensions for caliper but different part number. so the question arose.
(the rotor also identical to 99-03 ody and the previous gen pilot too)

acura caliper 45018-SEP-A01 @ 439.20 but online 329.40
honda caliper 45018-SDP-A01 @ 127.62 but online 89.33 (09 V6 accord)

acura pad 45022-SEP-A01 @ 60.73 but online 45.55
honda pad 45022-TE0-999 @ 60.73 but online 42.51

my logic : same price = same part
so maybe calipers ARE different but pads???

also it'd be great if i could just use accord caliepers since they're cheaper.....
my roommate has 04 accord V6 coupe and his brake feels like %$^@ but i thought it was just because he doesn't take care of it (this guy was saying "can't i just wait till timing belt snaps?" so i told him "NO!", anyways)
i HIGHLY doubt i'm that sensitive to feel the caliper flex past the stock rubber hose flex so anyway in short,
i am hoping i can use accord caliepr and expect same thing as acura part.

thanks all in advance
