The 3rd (center) brake light on my Del Sol is not working. Has not worked since buying. All other brake lights are operable. Tested wires and it IS getting 12V when brake pedal pressed. I thought it may be the bulbs, but they're LED's and none of them are coming on when pressing the brake pedal. Help.

 

Test the ground wire. It may be broken.

 

I ran a pigtail wire from the light to a ground and still nothing. I did noticed a couple broken bulbs inside the lense sliding around. But it looks like a typical light that may need to be put into the oven to separate the lense from the backing? Maybe I just need to buy a new light.

 

Use a multimeter to test voltage and ground from the bulb contact points inside the socket.

 

Just wanted to conclude this thread, the light was getting the proper power it was just crapped out. Bought a used one from a junkyard for $20 and it works perfectly. Thanks for the help.
