Default 3rd to 4th gear grind

Hey guys,
yesterday i noticed that my third gear and 4th gear started to grind under normal driving coditions. And 1st and 2nd gears felt funny(stiff). I take it to a mechanic and he said its my clutch. The first gear would also bog, he is changing my clutch and trasmission mounts. Does this sound right?
