3rd gear syncro?????

how do know if its gone. If i between 7200 and 8650 it grinds real quick just going into gear does that mean my sycro is gone. It didnt start doing it untill i put in act clutch

i had a problem with my 5th gear synchro due to a very bad mishift at redline, 4th gear. it ground also.. but at any rpm above 3k. it wore itself out eventually.
