So my clutch went out on my AC Compressor, I figured since my ac wasn't always that good I'll just buy a new AC Compressor with a new clutch since the compressor on the car is the original and don't want that to fail eventually.

But I've been reading on some of the listings on eBay that they say the compressor should be oiled but its the customers responsibility to make sure the oil is there. Question is how do i check to see if the oil is in there and if its the proper amount.

I plan on doing everything myself, gonna try to find a machine to rent to extract the refrigerant out of the whole system so its completely free of any nasties. i want my ac to run like it should and blow cold *** air since it used to be temperamental and blow hot air when it was hot outside and cold when i didnt need it.
