Is this a Hy-Tech header?
Yea it looks crazy, Ericks Racing has something similar to that on their all motor coupe
(I think they sell em too)

a wastegate! lol
Thats the Holland Racing (CBI) all motor car. And yes thats a custom Hy-tech header with a Megafone.
Also notice how low the header hangs. They say its because of the way the front is designed, the header needs to hang below it, however I think its also good for tripping the light at the end of the track instead of the front tire tripping the light. However one might think tripping the light early?? Yeah sure by what a few hundreaths of a second or a few inches. Look at the distance of the header vs. tire) of a second or so. Who would ever loose to them by that much.......
" (W) Cloyse Holland 111 ('90 Honda Civic) 0.668 11.491 120.57
(L) Lawrence Tse ('95 Acura Integra) 0.594 11.566 118.78
Holland was late off the line but with both cars coming close to duplicating their qualifying efforts he had enough in hand to drive by for a win margin of just 2 inches." -from NHRA
So I guess that custom HyTech header they have is good for more then just power...

the header is pretty low, but the lights at the track are only like an inch from the ground...
put it this way. The header is so low that it trips the staging lights. If you watch them race you will see the staging light go on and off when the header trips it.

I get a cookie from SG-T
The black hose is for there catch can setup, it pulls the vapors out and keeps crankcase pressure at the proper level.

If the primaries came out of the head for a longer period prior to turning down, the secondaries would be smack in front of the radiator with air flow going across a main portion of the header (not good).
Any racer could falsely trip the lights at the finish with activation of a hydraulic suspension set up also.
I was not aware that crankcase ventilation like that was allowed in these drag classes. I'm about 100% sure that the SCCA doesn't allow it for road racing, since crankcase ventilation has to be routed to a catch can.
that thing at the end should be a anti backfire valve. some old skool v8 technology that basically allows the exhaust to suck out the crank case vapors. its a one way valve that prevents things from flowing the wrong way.
