Default boosted b18b, very low vacuum

I have a fully built b18b, wisecos, eagle rods, supertech valve springs, JG 303 cams.
I'm trying to get my car on the dyno but I cannot pull more than 10 inhg at idle. My intake cam was a tooth off at one point but I quadruple checked it and it seems to be on point now. When my buddy first got the basemap tweaked out I did a compression test and it was 170 across the board. I will be doing a compression test tomorrow as when I took of the VC today the gasket stretched. At this point i'm not sure what it could be. When my springs were installed he checked my valves and they were all okay.

would having my intake cam a tooth off cause THAT low of vacuum. They are somewhat larger cams but people still pull around 20 inHG with them.

Maybe, either way If the cam timing is out you're waisting your time. If it was out originally then it will still be out now.

No, I'm saying if it was a tooth out in the first place it still will be a tooth out. It won't just fix it's self... you need to take the crank pulley off and check that way.

Also if they give you a "timing sheet" with those cams they need to be degreed. If they didn't I'd call them to confirm they're a drop in cam. Personally, I don't think there's such thing as a drop in cam myself...

^what he said.
if you put the new cams in and found out it was a tooth off after the install and you didn't do anything to fix it... its still a tooth off.

and I degree every cam no matter what.. I even degreed the cam we put in the ls7... and its a katech cam... always check things like that to be sure they are installed correctly

I would break it in with an OEM cam. You dont want to deal with tuning issues when you should be seating the rings.

as long as you have a tuner there to make some minor adjustments you should be able to break it in with that aftermarket cam.

If no tuner is avaible, then yes put in stock cams and start logging in some miles.
