Help: missing wheel lock, any other alternatives?
I assume you meant you can't find your wheel lock "key".
If you have factory wheel locks they usually have a "master key." I lost mine not too long ago and I went to the dealer. They didn't charge me anything to remove the locking nuts and put my original nuts back on.

what do you mean? your missing an actual wheel lock? or you lost the wheel lock key?
if your missing the actual wheel lock I'd at least put back the stock lug on for now so your not rolling on your rim secured by 3 lug nuts..
if you lost the key you might want to look for the package that your wheel locks came in if you still have it.. I *think* it has a lock/key number where they (McGuard) can make a new key w/ the number.. those are the locks that came w/ my stock wheels.... if not I've heard you can trace the wheel lock pattern and send it in ...
to remove it you can also try gettin some sandpaper and hammering on a socket and taking it out that way... depending on the pattern/wheel lock we've gotten one off w/ crescent wrench/channel locks... what happened was that my dumbass friend stepped on the lug wrench to "make sure its tight' and it was the hollow/tuner lugs that are used on aftermarket rims.. this jacked up the tuner lug nut and the rim key wouldn't fit/hold anymore.. so to get it off we used channel locks to grip hard on the tuner lug and turn it..

Go over to Pepboys and tell them you want a free break inspection, they can pull off the lock lug w/o the key, and thren just have them put on a regular lug nut. It'll cost you like $5 for 4 new lugs.
