Default B16 civic with jrsc

I have a 98 civic with a b16 swap and its supercharged with a jrsc pusshing 12 pounds of boost. The car was tuned befor i bought it but only 236whp is that too low for 12psi. As far as i know the internals are stock.

Do you have a boost gauge hooked up verifying that 12PSI, or is that just what the previous owner told you? Those things generally max out around 10PSI.

5 minutes on Google says 230-250 on a hot install is about right.

thats normal... jrsc's don't make lots of power, and after 10psi without an intercooler you might as well be using a heat gun... they just pump gobs of hot air at that pressure level

yup that's its down fall! even with the lht manifold @12psi i was getting power loss from heat soak! My new pro charger super charger has little to no heat soak. but that's actually good i made 230+hp with 6psi on a stock gsr with bolt ons.

I really want to do a budget street build with an ls/vtec with either an eaton m90 or m112 for ***** and giggles one day... just mount it down where the ac compressor should be (seen a number of setups this way) this gives you the ability to run a front mount... should make good power with a wicked power band
