Default Wanting input... trying to intercool a JRSC on a K20a3

Okay after reviewing the JRSC water to air intercool kit for the miatas i have noticed you could use the same approach to intercool a B16 or similar motors but with the K20 the supercharger is mounted on the manifold whereas with the miatas its mounted where it has to go and routed to the manifolds via piping...

I understand it looks like you might lose a lb of boost but youd gain cooler charge temperatures.

The way it works is you would cut out a hole... the manifolds are small so you might be able to go 2" in diamter or 1 3/4" on the side of the manifold.. that pushed air would ram charged hot supercharger air through a front mount intercooler and then back through your in take.

Can someone tell me why this wouldn't work/its disadvantages?
