CEL code P0441 - bypassed charcoal filter with inline filter. Will it pass CA smog?
If you bypass the charcoal filter with the inline filter do you know if it will pass california smog?

i was wondering if i bypassed my charcoal filter with an inline filter will it still pass california smog? does any body know? i read on another thread that its safe to do it and it will kill that dreaded cel with code po441? please help.

Ca smog inspectors wont pass it on a visual inspection and it wont kill the cel.
the other forum has the info you need to troubleshoot the cause.
Leaning heavilly to the vaccum leak in my book.
Sometimes cels take some doing but they can be cleared.
Where in ca are you?
