Where is this squeak coming from?
I have an 03 EX Coupe and just started noticing a squeak in side the cabin sounds like it is coming from the rear seat but am not sure, nothing has been changed to the car in a few months. It only occurs when I hit a bump, any ideas (I know that this is a long shot).
Thanks,
Dan

You want us to tell you where your car is squeaking? LOL
If it only occurs when you hit a bump then check the suspension components. (bushings, sway bar end links, etc.)
If it's coming from inside the car, well, you're still going to have to find it. Have someone ride in the car with you and see if they can pinpoint it.

I know this is difficult to diagnose, but the squeak is present when I bounce the front drivers side of the car and from no other corner. Originally I though it was from inside the car but it is coming from somewhere on outside.
The squeak goes away when it is raining. This past weekend I pulled the drivers front strut, pulled it apart cleaned everything and lubricated. In addition I "lubricated" the lower A arm bushings and the rubber mount on the sway bar, none of this solved the problem.
Could it be the ball joint or some part of the exhaust?

I remember a case where someone's drivers side suspension was making an awful creaking / squeaking sound. Turns out it was the sway bar end link on that side. Might want to check that.
Will check this weekend, if I need to replace are the JDM's worth the money? I have also seen some from B/A that have grease nipples.

I remove the drivers side end link it was in excellent condition, I put some oil in them just to be certain and re-installed.
Unfortunately the sqeak is still there...
I check the rest of the suspension and cannot find anything obvious.

Hmm... well.. if it stops when it's raining; put the car on ramps and have someone push down on the driver's side while you spray each possible component with a garden hose, starting with the lowest point first.
Once the noise stops, you've found the culprit.

I'm getting closer, I noticed yesterday that when the wheel if fully turned I cannot get the car to squeak. It must be some sort of shield by the steering linkage that is causing the problem.
I will get underneath the car this weekend and report back.

I replaced the dust covers on the lower arm ball joint and the tie rod end. I cleaned both joints with wd40 and greased them up. Not sure if this will solve the problem because it is raining in NYC but the were ripped and needed replacing and the joints are in great shape
Brought the car into the dealer for the headlight recall, they tried to tell me the ball joints were bad (I had just repacked one and checked it thoroughly, so that was BS). They also said that the eibach springs caused the struts with 66k on them to fail.
I know the struts need to be replaced as they are not fully extended with out of the car.
I decided to put some oil on the strut shaft, which did not immediately solve the problem but after a couple of days the oil worked its way into the strut tube and now the noise is gone...
Sot the STRUT was the PROBLEM

I still cannot figure out this problem, the only thing I know is that it goes away when driving in the rain. It is a squeak that occurs when I drive the front drivers side over a pump or pot hole. It sounds like metal on metal but am unsure.
here is what I did:
(1) repacked and installed new dust covers on the lower a-arm ball joints
(2) removed all arm bolts and lubricated with anti-seize
(3) replace stabilizer links with MOOG links
(4) Lubricated the stabilizer bushing with glycerine and talc powder
(5) install new KONI yellows all around
(6) checked, cleaned upper strut bearings
(7) strut, springs and bearings are properly indexed
(6) Lubricated all bushings in the rear suspension
I suspect that this squeak has nothing to do with the suspension, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
