Before u purchase a chip off ebay.. find out the specific name & model of the chip.. I bought a dinan performance chip off there and it works awesome.. rev limit is 8k rpm.. i love the sound of dohc at 7.5k

 

that i is bsman if you wanta chip get a new one hellif he is selling it it might be fubar! (*****d up beyond all recal)

Yea, my friend bought the same thing for his RSX for 5 bucks. It is only a resistor with instructions where to put in. Somewhere on the intake temp control thing. We messed with it but could never get it to change anything. Whatever, only a 5 dollar loss.

 

i'd hold off on the chip wif you just have an intake. the best ECU upgrade you can do is if you already have a few upgrades and you want to complement the changes to the motor with an ECU reprogram specific to what you have done to the engine.

From what I've heard, hondata.com has the best thing going. As far as chips go.

 

any idea on price?? or what I should have done to my engine before looking into the chip?
