Icon4 swapping b18a1 into 96 civic dx. need advice

Alright I have a 1996 honda civic dx I would like to swap out my d16y7 for a b18a1. I have a 92 integra wiring harness, ecu, mounts, A1 cable tranny, and intake. I was wondering if sombody that has some experiance could let me know if i need more parts and where the ecu plugs, do i need and obd2 to obd1 harness. I also just need advice on the swap i have never tried this so any good advice will help.
Thanks

Well for starters, you cannot use the 92' wiring harness since it's OBD0 and your car is OBD2A. Your best bet is to use your stock engine harness. The transmission will not work because your car is hydro. Unless you do a cable conversion (not worth it in the least IMO) you'll need a different trans. ECU you'll need a 96-98 P75 ECU if you want it to be plug and play. Otherwise convert to OBD1 and use a 94-95 P75 or a chipped P06. I don't think the mounts will work either. It's been a long time since I've had an EK but I believe you need the 99-00 SI rear trans mount. DC mounts might work for the rest. Someone else should verify that.

Honestly I would just sell off everything and go with a B1 swap. It will be soooo much easier and practical.

It's a pretty easy swap. Be sure to use the search feature. There is a lot of good information on here. Aside from the motor and accessories don't forget you'll need things like axles, shift linkage, etc.

Also check the FAQ guide stickied up top. Lots of good information to sort through there as well. Highly recommend purchasing a Haynes manual for Civic and Integra.
