Hi all I'm new to truboin civics do I'm here for some advice . Basically I'm after a good amount of power ( 350whp ) that i can do myself, I no my way around an engine so im ok in that respect but Iv not a clue where to start when it comes to a B16 engine

Iv had a good read through some threads and got a good look in on what you boys are doing and I'm liking it ..

How much will a home grown kit cost me to do (350whp)
What bits do I need internally (ie; forge it)
Do I need stand alone management or just a live map


I'll add no the engine is not going into jap metal

 

1) Prices vary, stay away from ebay.....use trusted brands........I would say about $2,500

2) no, stock b16 can take 350whp easily....... good tune is key to making the engine last

3) Hondata S300 will do the job

4) Don't forget, injectors, fuel pump, regulator and a clutch also
