I have a 1997 Civic EX, 4dr, 200xxxKM
I am suspecting a blown head gasket.

Here are the symptoms.
In June, the car starts over heating everytime I Idle, or hit a red light. turns out my coolant was almost empty! filled it back up, and was fine..

Now in August, its overheating again! coolant reserve was full, but i had to pour 3+ glasses of water into the radiator cap.. like it was really thirsty..or it didnt know how to drink.

I did a pressure test, and there was a leak, internal. havnt figured it out.. so its the coolant, going into the engine??

I have tried to just start the car, and let it idle in the driveway, with the radiator cap off, i see the water is boiling, and bubbling.. is this normal? or its a blown head gasket.

It hasnt over heated since..

Does you have a sweet smell coming from the car? Have you checked your oil to see if coolant is on it? If those check out, could be something as simple as your radiator cap.

 

"A pressure test" isn't very descriptive. Did you do a compression test, or a leakdown test? If you only did the first, do the second. Also, pick up a block test kit and use that as well.

 

How do you do a leakdown test ?

 

Compress air into the cylinders and listen where the air is escaping
