Trying to make 900+
Also a good investment is to cryo-treat any parts that you can, it's inexpensive and makes your parts stronger. I for sure have my crank done but can't remember if I did my rods and pistons or not. Back when I did it, you were limited on what you can cryo-treat. Nowadays you can do complete internal treatment, top to bottom.

It's always a lot cheaper to buy a whole car then building it yourself. My car will make close to 900 and didn't cost me 60k but I did all the work myself and my tranny won't last.

Ouch Thats alot of dough. Give me 22k and I'll give you a full race car that makes 870 church tuned and can do 950+ easy. He has not thought about the tranny side tho.
