DX/Si Clutch compatibility
Just a quick question guys,
My brother has a 91 DX hatch, his transmission is toast, doesn't go into third, pops out of second, etc etc.
We found an Si transmission, so we're going to swap it in tomorrow, my questions is can we reuse the same clutch and flywheel. We replaced the clutch not 12 months ago so it should still be good.
So is the Si transmission a direct swap? No other parts needed? Thanks in advance.

The years matter not the model. 88-89 vs 90-00. One is 21 spline and the other is 20 spline I can't remember which is which. The clutch disk is actually different between the years.
I have a 90 dx tranny in my 88 si, but I used a 96 flywheel and clutch.
