Default Wheels spin with clutch pedal pressed/braking kills engine with car on jack stands

Car is currently on jack stands. New clutch installed and Everything back together. When running, in gear, and the clutch held down, the wheels start to spin and if I hit the brakes they stop the axles and kill the engine. What could it be?

5spd transmission with stock flywheel an oem replacement clutch disk, pressure plate, and throw out bearing.

He's saying even with the clutch pushed in the car still dies once he brakes.

Correct. It seems the slave cylinder has about 3/4 inch of backwards play when the clutch pedal is all the way up. And Only moves about an inch when the pedal is pressed. I've bled it multiple times with no change. It seems like the throwout bearing isn't coming all the way back on the clutch fork for some reason.
