well friday i went out to the track. it was my first time. this was my best run.

i have a 96 EX w/ minor engine mods. apex N1 cat back. AEM short ram. suspension and whatnot. i'm hoping for a swap next spring. that what i'm saving for anyway. B16 or B18
my mistakes were a full tank of gas. wheel hop at the line and not being able take the seats out do to stripped bolts. please tell how you think i did. thanxx for viewing.

Here is my pass in my old 99 EX with full interior, full tank of gas, AEM intake, and APEXi N1 catback. Weighed over 2700lbs with me in the car. This was on stock tires and Skunk2 coilovers.

2 weeks later I bought a GReddy header and pulled my back seats out and ran 15.66 @ 86MPH. A week after that I pulled the engine and sold it to a guy with a 97 EX and he only managed a 17.1 out of it. Go figure. I have never seen a 6th Gen EX run in the 15s with minor boltons other than mine.
Just keep going to the track. I launched hard and never slipped the clutch...always dropped it.

I ran my 1991 dx sedan at the track before my swap and ran a 17.8@75...blah 
Then I swapped a b16a with i/e and ran a 14.8@94 hehe 3 secs less and almost 20 mph more

a guy i know ran his ex with a greddy evo, 421 dc header and short ram
all he could get was 16.6
he had crappy tires and cant drive, i was actually driving it when the car got the fastest time, and i had never even drove the car had no idea how ot launch it
