Anyone running this turbo? Numbers/Reviews? Borg Warner S360
I picked up a brand new one of these for an great price from a member with 1.00 A/R and vband upgrade. Wondering if anyone has run this turbo and what kind of numbers they made. If so please post up your setups with numbers/reviews of this turbo. I searched but didn't come up with much.
My set up is
83mm Benson sleeved block
CP piston, Pauter rods
B16 head, full valve train, stock port
Victor X intake manifold
Not sure on cams yet - either Skunk2 tuner 1's or Pro 1's. Need to see what Jeff Evans recommends.
GSR tranny- Rebuilt, Mfactory diff
Full Race divided t4 bottom mount - 3 inch DP
Tial twin 44mm MVS gates
Here is a link with some info on this turbo
http://www.full-race.com/store/turbo...-75-turbo.html
Car will be tuned on pump 93 as well as race gas. Curious to see what this turbo can do on race gas.
The above link says 600+ but wondering if I could get high 600 - low 700's out of it.
Thanks

Nobody running this thing? Has it ever been an option for anyone? I see it being compared to GT35 alot from research and mostly subaru, evo and supra guys are using it. Although its journal bearing, they are seeing faster spool times than the Garrett, not to mention its alot cheaper. Guess I'll be one of the few (or the only one seeing how there has not been one response) to try this thing out on a Honda and post some results.

These were the non-extended tip versions of the BW S300 series lineup. It is nice potent turbo that is capable of about 500-550whp, in a T4 frame or even a t3 frame. They were a bit more popular about 4 years ago, before the Precision CEA came out

that is a good turbo - i ran it on my personal built B series car for a while. It is an extended tip, and the 1.00 a/r works well but 1.10 works best if CTR/ITR or larger cams are used with twinscroll.
T3 housings are available but rare, we get them for customers occasionally

What was your set up and what numbers did you put down if you dont mind me asking?
I would imagine a 1.00 a/r with that exhaust wheel will do just fine with larger cams. I believe what Geoff was saying is you will see a little more gains out of the larger 1.10 housing is all.
That's just an illustrated exploded view. You're looking at the bottom of the thrust bearing, but it may not be to accurate scale.
For example.
270* Bearing (Left) -- 360* Bearing (Right)

Both are undercut at the bottom, so at first flush it can look like a 270 degree, but in fact, isn't.

-we have the T3 undivided housings in stock for S300SX of all sizes. We will have s200 available in T3 undivided next month
-1.10 a/r twinscroll T4 is in stock now (thats what I ran on my b series), thanks for mentioning it is not on our site. Ill get our webguy to fix that
-as long as the turbo and manifold are both divided (even divided WG) the 1.00 and 1.10 will work nicely with big cams. I typically prefer 1.10 if the motor is built with big cams and headwork. my car's dyno sheet and some some photos and videos from evans tuning dyno sesh are here:
