Default Binding Issues

Car is a 1990 Civic hatch DX. I am having a binding issue on the driver's side.
Currently swapped a B18C with a ys1(gsr) tranny. The intermediate shaft is off a '90 DA. I first used the '90 DA axles, but wasn't enough clearance. Then saw that crx_si-r was using axles off an '89 DA for clearance, so I picked some up and was binding less. But I am still having the same issue.
Any ideas? Thanks in advance

Remove the dust rings on the knuckles. If that's not it, do you have reputable engine mounts?

Binding is coming from the driver's side wheel.
I removed the dust ring on the inner side of the wheel bearing and helped a whole lot more. I can actually drive the car now, but still makes the noise when I accelerate and deccelarate, or hit a bump.

Mounts are Innovative. Steel mounts with red inserts.

Is the axle locked into the half-shaft ?? could be just a lil out and causing your problem

That's good news!
Is your car lowered? How much?

88/89 axles are shorter than the DA.
Some people that have lowered a lot run into binding as the axles are put at a straighter angle than at stock height.
Using the 88/89 fixes the binding.

Car is lowered. Was tucking a tad bit of the tire, then I raised it to a complete finger gap and helped more.

And yes axle is locked into the halfshaft.

Are you sure the noise isn't the shield on the brake rotor?

I don't think it could be that because I feel it on the steering wheel.

No offense Super Dave, but the SH3 is longer and will make the situation worse. The 90 DA intermediate shaft is correct, should say SK7.

Correct. Reads SK7. SH3 is off the SI-R which is longer. Axle nut is secure.
Don't really know what else to do.

Raise your car up and see if it goes away.
If it does, then a different mount kit that is more friendly with lowered cars or shorter axles is all I can suggest.

Your binding may be gone. If it makes noise when you hit a bump, and you feel something in the wheel, it could be tie rods, inner or outer, or a ball joint. Are you running a traction bar?

That's what i was thinking.
You think Hasport mount kit would make it sit higher?
I was already having problem with clearance with the hood. I think I might need washers on the hindges just for clearance.

Just last week with my D15B2 wasn't like that, but maybe because its holding more weight up front?
And no, no traction bar.

Could it be that they just gave me a defective axle?
