What causes very low engine idle? 250rpm?
My engine is idling very low. it's just idling high enough to stay alive. I know if the idle fluctuates it could be the IACV but my idle isn't fluctuating. it's idling roughly around 250rpm. Cold it idles around 700rpm. its a OBD2 so there are no FITV. I got this problem after installing the Skunk2 Intake Manifold.

i've tried playing with the adjusting screw and it didn't solve anything. i doubt it's the tps. i never touched it. it's still in its factory place.
hmm...no i didn't if you put it that way. how would i go about adjusting the screw properly and i'm assuming you adjust it with the car on correct?

run the vehicle to operating temp. disconnect the iacv. with the iacv disconnected, you want idle to at roughly 500rpm. adjust as necessary. once at 500, reconnect the iacv. rpm should now be at roughly 750rpm. clear codes and idle car for 10 minutes
