Well ****, ****, and ****. These last 2 days have blown royally. It started with the terrible decision to take my R back to all-motor.
Before I left for deployment I sold my turbo kit and the car sat. I knew that it needed a new cabin harness, as the old one was hacked and spliced, not a big deal right? WRONG.
I sourced a semi uncut cabin harness, got it shipped to the house, fixed what needed fixing and was ready to rock.
Well the time came to install it. Since removing the old one every thing was accessible. It didn't help at all. Getting the harness to sit right as it did from the factory is beyond a pain in the ***. I am by no means a noob when it comes to cars but this is seriously kicking my ***.
Well long story short, I got every thing hooked up got the dash put in, and went to crank it up. Well the fuel pump primes, stops, go to crank and no signal to the starter. Im thinking its some thing todo with the immobilizer. When I removed the old cabin harness, I also removed a very very old viper alarm. Instead of adding the immobilizer box they once again spliced some **** together and did it the ghetto way ( no offense to our ghetto members)
So I once again find my self in the situation of having the dash, ac, heat, and blower controls all pulled out and pretty much down to the bare fire wall. Going to start it all again tomorrow and then if it doesn't work Ill start asking on here what you guys think.
END Rant. This blows hard!!!!

yeah, the wife was watching secret life of some thing, or some **** so I went and hooked up most of the Cabin harness so hopefully tomorrow will go by little bit faster.
I actually dropped the column and put that weird plastic U bit where its supposed togo. so its semi tidy. My fingers are sore tho so im calling it quits for the night.
there are a few plugs that I have no idea where they go. Ill get wire colors tomorrow, I know one is Pink. and its a single wire and plug????? I have no idea about that one.
The install part isnt the bit im worried about, its the not starting part. IM hoping that its nothing todo with the half *** alarm I pulled out of it.
I have tons of pics ill post up once im done lol.

Well that was a long fun day. not. ended up being an easy fix. there was a open female end some brown connector so i took the male end off of my old harness plugged it in and it turned over. so thats good. gotta fix the engine harness next but thats just the injector harness from it having a obd1 circuit and a resistor box. woohooo.
**** i never want todo that again.

Yeah, its nice having part of my garage back and not full with interior parts. On the plus side I did pull a ton of **** out of my blower motor so maybe that will make a difference. I needed todo a coolant flush anyways, so at least I got that knocked out. Now im just slowly knocking out all the little misc ****. Like fixing the engine harness.
Ohh good times with my beater. I nearly picked up a 600rr today but decided against it.
