Default no start/spark/rpm with neptune, will start will stock ecu

Can't get my new build started. No spark with the neptune demon ECU. It will start and run with a virgin p05.

car is 92 si, cabin ecu harness is from a obd1 civic dx, engine harness is obd2 integra ls. Engine is b18a, with obd2 b18b dizzy, obd2 crv alt, precision 1000 inj. speedfactory 4bar.
wideband is plugged into d12.

checked a21, a22, good to dizzy.
checked voltage at coil, and ignitor- good.
checked b15-16, b13-14, b12-11.. all around the same (390)
ignitor and coil seem to be good, (it starts with the other ecu)

Neptune will not see any rpm during cranking.

I seem to be missing something from the wiring hybrid mess. Any ideas??

got code 8 for the p05 ecu... will trace that down. seems a likely culprit.

Yup. As soon as that's fixed it'll work just fine.

swapped dizzy internals with another obd2 dizzy. Still has code 8. wires to ecu are not shorted to ground or other dizzy sensors. I'm not sure whats next.

You test continuity? It's obviously not getting that signal properly.

well, I took the dizzy apart again, looked it over, put in back together. I couldn't find **** wrong. Pulled the 4bar and injectors, put stock stuff on, started it with the p05 again. Other than running lean, it seemed good. NO codes. So, i'm going to try a p75 base map in neptune and see what happens. I was going to tonight, but the A/C for the house started leaking, so I had to mess with that. Might be a few days till I can look at it.

We shall see...

One question about neptune..

I have a demon/neptune p28 ecu. to run a b18a...

Should I run p28 and base map of p75, then just turn vtec to 10k rpm, and tune with low maps? Or select the High map only option? Or should i pick say p05 ecu with no vtec enabled? I tried the last, and it still has low/high maps availible to tune.. Is there a reason U can still mess with them. I would think the program would automatically gray out say the high maps or something of that nature.

I know there will be multiple ways to get around no vtec, but what would be the easiest?

though both low and high cam primary/secondary maps are always available to trick with, once the VTEC ECU option is disabled(unchecked), only primary low cam fuel and ignition maps are in effect, regardless if vtec/non-vtec ecu was chosen initially using the wizard.

He's got it. Choosing a VTEC ECU simply turns on the VTEC ECU option for you. You can always disable any of the sensors later on.

All of the maps are still available because you can use them with other options, copy/paste, etc etc.
